Children on the streets

Posted by admin on 21st January and posted in community service

Zeinab is a 13 years old girl that spends her days in HAMRA Street. She had never attended a school. All what she knows in life, was acquired from the street.
Lots of children on the streets are like Zeinab being abused and left to destiny to determine their miserable future.
Volunteers willing to join EDUSERV’s community service team, which is going to help providing education for some of those children in Lebanon, kindly e mail us esafa@eduserv.me

a well educated lady told me story about a painter that had a paint for jeuses without a face cause he didn’t have the appropriate face, he was walking in the street and found a little boy asking for money the boy was so innocent and pure, but no other way to earn living, the painter said”i will give you money, if you let me draw your face” the boy has to say yes since he needed to eat so the painter has his drawing completed after 20 years he was drawing the devil but didn’t find the face, he was having a drink in a place and a man entered asking for money so the painter shouted on the man asking him to leave and then realized that the man will be a perfect match for the drawing of devil so he asked him to have his face. The tears came to the eyes of the man and told the painter when he saw the drawing of jeuses besides the drawing of devil, “you asked once to have my face on the innocent drawing”…this is what happen to street children, street makes childern transform.
